I would think that it would simply have to have a piece cut out front to back Bren, its the same width all the way along. I just had a look at my Esse.x one

i was gonna do another day cab 110 or 111 in brain haulage's colours or russel davies with a short skelly trailer

Incidentally, there are loads of references to Brains Haulage in "This Truckin' Life" by Laurie Driver. Unfortunately there are no pictures, but a quick google search will bring some up.

brendan,
just had a good look at the roof,i just chopped out the same section that is removed from the cab side panels,ie the bit between the back of the door and the rear quarter windows, but the rear section wasnt quite flush when joined so i cut the rear section in the center, glued these so there flush with the sides on the front section, added some thin strips inside and filled the joint.the roof hatch needs cutting off and repositioning and theres two ribs that run lenghways along the roof and dont quite line up after cutting.i laid some masking tape along the required line and spread some filler ,and much sanding later it was good enough.hope this helps. andrew.

ryan the tanks are old italeri scania 142 tanks with the detail sanded off(these are the right size and shape for the old scania 44 gallon tanks) and new ends made from plasticard. i just bent some plastruct channel for for brackets.the filler caps are the original heller ones slightly sanded to look more like the correct shape.
cheers andrew.

Thanks Andrew - they look the part. Better than the bigger 141 tanks that come with the kit.
