Mine arrived today too. Lots of diggers (each to their own) but the star for me is Frenchman Daniel Bazin's ERF cement tanker. Look forward to reading it all tonight........

I have just noticed, on page 7, the competition at the bottom is headed: 'Win A Corgi Scania!' but the pic and the writing is all about 3 Iveco's?

Another great issue. I was suprised to see my old Emek excavator in there - that photo was taken over 5 years ago!
Just a quick note about my DAF in the super singles article - the wheels are KFS resin wheels chromed with plastikote - not real aluminium ones.

Sorry, just being cynical, never known as many announce that he post has arrived. Cracking edition, something for everyone.
I am not a big lover of plant and lowloaders, etc. But, this is just the thing to get the juices going, inspiration and kick start into new projects. Good one Peter.

Great issue-right up my street/site Peter! lol. So glad their is an article on pinstriping. Plus plenty of diggers and shovels plus nice to see the new kit even if it isn't particularly welcomed by all modellers. I have to admit these half pipe trailers are few and far between in these parts but they are becoming more popular it appears. The wheels do look strange but having checked pics i have of the real deal it looks like you drill the centre section out and stick a kfs hub in. No doubt going against popular opinion here but this issue will do me when the far east one comes in-though no doubt it will be a weathering masterclass.

Why change the wheels, you have shown fotos of a wheel on Kel-Berg trailer with BPW running gear, the kit is a Schmitz with what looks like Rotos running gear Look here http://www.cargobull.com/uk/technology/rotos.phpRon

ok Ron, i didn't realise it was accurate for a schmitz, though if i built one i personally would change the hubs as i think they look better like above

No problem, it just seems Italeri have done a bit of homework on this kit, don't if Schmitz might have had influence though

thats the sad thing if italeri really tried on this one and offered us something new but it isn't a big seller then they might think why bother and just decide to turn out the same stuff. Though maybe its flying off the shelves in europe? I hope it does well-may speed up the stralis

Sort of like putting a Spitfire cockpit on a Lancaster! Each to their own Just having a quick look through, looks to be some interesting stuff. I nearly bought one of the Dickie excavators, wish I had now! The supplement for the Seasonal Specials is interesting though. Traplet launching yet another Modelling magazine, must still be plenty of people modelling, but no books on truck modelling . It can't just be because of the old 'we are only a small number' line, there are three books on model submarines listed, I'm sure there can't be any more submarine modellers than truck modellers!!!
