Read mine last night. Some cracking articles. I particularly like the weathered Bedford. I wasn't convinced about some of the techniques used on the Scania a couple of months ago but the Bedford is one of the most realistic looking models I have ever seen - well done Andy. I fancy trying the techniques described on my next (truck) build.

Wot, no cartoon?
Another great issue, some really good stuff on show. I know what you mean Peter when you look at old models you thought were great at the time with hindsight lol.
I was quite impressed with the Wedico Actros although not enough to make me change disciplines.
And although I've seen it once already, Andy's Bedford is a cracking model, really nice job. I'd like to have had a better description of how you painted the cab, you start by saying it was sprayed black and then its not mentioned again?
Jeff have you completely turned to the dark side lol? Like the Mack too once I got my shades on. The heavy haulage outfit is pretty impressive too even if the left hand page has in in 1/24 and the right hand page as 1/50 lol (look at the top corners of the page). I'd like to know where the builder got the wheel trims from on the steering axles?
Excellent tipper, Peter I assume? Really looks the part. Bit clean mind lol.
Great low loader (got to say that haven't I ) and Daves F12 looks the biz as usual.
Which kit was used as the tractor with the loco set up. Thats a great model but I don't recall seeing it at Gaydon?
Not my scale, but I rather liked the little wrecker too.
Haha Andy managed to sneak in twice on the readers models page, and another Bedford on there that looks good too.
And I'll tell you what I'm looking forward to seeing more of, the removal wagon promised for next month. That looks really good.

If I remember correctly this was a Western Star Constellation kit. I saw it (and Chris) at Gaydon and this model has to be seen to be believed! I thoroughly enjoyed this issue. Once again a great collection of models. I had to laugh at seeing the same Scania twice in the Readers' Models. Not only has it appeared twice, but so has the error in the description. It's a Heller kit not an Italeri.

CME...It's a W/S but not the Constellation. It's the earlier one with the square nose.

Hi lads, new to the forum, been buying TMW for a long time now but this month's is one of the best. The scratchbuilt loco is awsome, saw it at gaydon had to look twice...very bright!!!
Also love David Cassell's Volvo f-12, i personally love taking old kits and reworking them, but Dave's volvo is superb.
Beford weathering again is very good.. Well done to all
