Looks good ... seems like we're going through a "build a tow truck" phase on the forum! Or maybe it's just the fact that I'm now working on my second, and third, tow trucks after the TC (which is still waiting for the last few touches).

well i have well and truly missed the deadline as i have been unable to do any more till now due to work and family commitments. how can i move this build from the group section to the your photos section. also how can i amend the title to read 80's daf tow truck. i will be doing more to this very shortly.

Mark,
I don't think you can move it (it would have to be done by the administrators). This "group build" appears to have attracted fewer than five builds...with that in mind, I say leave it here and people can just look here to see your progress.

as you can see i have laminated the sides with card so that i can scribe new doors into the sides. the two halves are now joined and i will soon be starting to construct the flyer. more to follow shortly. mark

Like what you are doing. Are you going to fill the joints between the sides and the tops of the lockers? I remember these DAFs were everywhere at one point, obviously cheap base units. Don't see many about now though
