Just finished this one. Probabily my best WSI repaint yet, hoping to do a few more in the future.

I used to tip regularly in Perth a year or so back, ad Macleods ran out of there overnights, their fleet was very eye catching and credit due to them for the way the motors were kept pristine.

Nice job Benni

Wow this looks like it could be a real wsi. Nice shine off the paintwork - just look at the shine off the blue wings on the last picture.

Was it halfords paints sprayed straight onto the white cab?

Halfords onto the bare metal cab (stripped with Nitromors, Hlfds'primer, Hlfds top coat).

Note the shine off the cab roof in the first two pics too. Angel Angel

Thats fantastic, looks really good!
How did you get them stripped down so much too work on?
Ive basically just started and just did a WSI Scania Highline in McFadyens colours, but wasnt really sure how they stripped down without breaking too much! Just got the cab off and the front bumper off and masked off as much as i could!! Any tips?!

Benni,

Very nice model, what colours did you use for the interior, at the moment I am doing a Tekno 105, and just wondered what you did

Thanks for all the great comments guys. I am well pleased with this one. Angel

Ron, I didn't touch the interior, I just left it the colours it came in, which is mostly black and dark grey. I think Tekno supply the dashboard in a beige colour, which is the correct colour that DAF use in the XF105?

Slightly off topic now... but I have found some photos for you from DAF. As you can see, the interior colour is a light tan / 'browny' grey. Hope this helps Ron.
