maybe the last update before i go back into work guys! give you all a break....lol
the near side is nearly complete now, today ive plumbed the fuel tank in, finished off the pram mudguard and turned my attention to the compressor hose and hydraulics hoses.
ive been using solder wire for the plumbing and susies but the air and hydro hoses are slightly bigger so i bought some of this

once happy with the postioning of the hose it was primered and painted in this

while the hose was drying ive turned my attention to the offside, finished the second tool box and then detailed the compressor

i made it using 2 battery boxes which i think came from the AMT volvo kit
had a play with the hoses and its looking busy! still got another hydro hose to fit and of course make the end connections

had a bit of a nightmare yesterday with the chassis,
got all hydraulic hoses fitted but managed to snap off pram wheel mudguard in process. after faffing around with superglue it looked a mess so ive ended up making a new one which i fitted today.
also tried alclad chrome paints for the wheels and happy sso far with the results although i may have to buy some more after playing around with it first.........
nearside now complete save for drive wheels painting and side marker lights fitting

brackets for brush and shovel fitted and test fitting to cab

all parts for offside painted and just need fitting not much plumbing this side thank god!

possibly mate, thing is if i start weathering i may never stop lol
had problems with this,
painted alclad on the lockers and all was looking good, until i glued a latch and the glue made a mess of the paint, added to that my fingers have rubbed some areas off while i was test fitting the various parts, thank christ im back in work for 5 days. will have another go at them when i get home lol

not much done over the last couple of weeks just bit done to the chassis to finish it off

finally got a half decent finish with the alclad on the toolboxes

so yesterday with the chassis complete ive started back on the cab, not much done but for a bit of blue tac moulded into a quilt and pillow then painted.
then made a fire extingushier that sits on the engine hump in the cab, bracket to hold it to the bunk wall was made out of soft solder

got to get my butt into work this afternoon for a trip down to essesx, so thats all for now......
