Is this guy actually selling them? if so rather than moaning about it give it a go your self, you would be a mug not to, what do have to loose?
He's not hiding anything or doing anything sneaky, not only is it a dose of cash to buy, but you have to pay 9 quid for him to send it as well.
Just as a matter of interest how much is a code 3 model to buy and how rare is a bath tub tipper.

If he is selling at those price, and it looks like he is, then he already has proof that there is a good market for those models at that price range.

Jump in before the the bubble bursts.
If you already have a ebay account, then put one of your own models up there and see how it goes.

As tilt man said, don't moan about it do it yourself, secondly why moan in the first place your not paying the money for it, it is a case of supply and demand, he is building because people are buying simple as that, read the listers comment at the bottom about negative opinions.
Just because there are people with more money to spend than the rest of us does not mean it is wrong, there are several modellers that could do the same job as a commission for less.
Note that people that buy these models generally are not modellers but collectors and price it appears is of little importance but it makes them happy.

Totally agree with Mick, money is no object to these so called 'collectors' I've repainted a couple of the Corgi tipper trailers for a freind, who to be honest has'nt a clue when it comes to models, in fact I have completely stripped down and repainted a tipper trailer in a couple of days, dead easy! and you can pick them up at toy fairs for about £10!

Now I've seen what they can make, I'll definately have a go Dancing
